With over 160 apprentices and winners of the CITB Industry Apprentice Employer of the Year Large Company Award 2015, A-Plant has an excellent apprenticeship programme which is growing each year and we want you to be part of it.
We are currently recruiting for customer service apprentices to join us in September 2016 to embark on our 2 year programme so if you have a passion for delivering excellent customer service then this apprenticeship is for you!
The Apprenticeship Programme is a great opportunity to learn more about our diverse, fast-growing organisation and gain a greater insight into the equipment rental business as a whole.
Based in one of our Service Centres, working on the Hire Desk, you'll handle customer enquiries and orders, either over the phone or face-to-face. You'll also learn how to use our internal IT systems and learn more about the different types of products that we hire to customers. We will also support you through a NVQ Level 2 qualification in Customer Service, upon completion you will have the opportunity to progress onto a Level 3 qualification.
An Apprenticeship is a big commitment, so you'll need to work hard and show you're serious about developing a career with us. You should also be 16 or over and have (or be predicted) GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/D or above.
In return, we'll give you all the training and support you need to develop a skilled career. We'll give you an industry leading salary which increases each year of your apprenticeship, 23 holidays per year (excluding Bank Holidays) and annual incentives during your Apprenticeship. You will receive a starting salary of GBP 10500, this will increase every year that you are an apprentice.
You can apply for the Apprenticeship any time between February and June, but you must be ready to start work with us in September 2016.
